AWIZ and Evondos Netherlands enter into framework agreement to accelerate the deployment of medication support
03-03-2026
Anders Werken in de Zorg (AWIZ) and Evondos Netherlands (Medido) have joined forces by signing a framework agreement. Thanks to this collective agreement, affiliated healthcare organizations can deploy Medido, the smart medication dispenser, quickly and under shared conditions, supported by a streamlined collaboration.
The framework agreement is available to over 175 healthcare organizations affiliated with AWIZ and was established in cooperation with purchasing cooperative Intrakoop. By making joint agreements, organizations no longer need to complete the full procurement process individually. This saves time, prevents duplication of work, and enables smarter and more efficient scaling within the healthcare sector. As a result, healthcare organizations can start using the Medido medication dispenser more quickly, allowing more time and attention to be dedicated to clients.
More efficient procurement, greater focus on care
The collaboration aligns with the broader movement within healthcare to make innovation more accessible and scalable. In this context, AWIZ works closely with Intrakoop. By establishing collective framework agreements, the threshold for healthcare organizations to adopt proven care technologies is lowered. This helps reduce administrative burdens and supports organizations in taking faster steps toward reorganizing care delivery in smarter ways.
Shared ambition
The framework agreement between AWIZ and Evondos Netherlands (Medido) underscores their shared ambition to organize care more intelligently, reduce the workload for healthcare professionals, and strengthen clients’ independence and collective self-reliance. By making smart solutions such as the medication dispenser easily and widely available to healthcare organizations, AWIZ and Evondos Netherlands (Medido), together with Intrakoop, contribute to sustainable transformation in healthcare practice.
