Medido Application
Register the client via the registration form
Note: when using Nedap Ons® you may also be able to use the Medido profile list.
The next steps for enrollment are:
- Inform the pharmacy that the client is starting Medido and request the required pharmacy information.
- Review and communicate changes in desired dispensing times with the pharmacy.
- Complete the enrollment form completely.
- Client must have the indication "dispensing medication.
- Check whether the registration is correctly categorized under 'Home care technology' in the care registration system in connection with the declaration.
Note: Medication roll required: check if the medication roll is available and always request the medication roll before requesting a Medido medication dispenser. Without a medication roll, we cannot ship the Medido medication dispenser, resulting in delays.
What is the Medido Portal?
In the Medido Portal, you can find everything about the dispensing of Medido medication dispensers and gain insight into important billing information.
Account Types
There are two types of accounts, each with different permissions:
- Employee account: This account allows you to access client data in the teams you are linked to. Data of clients in other teams and billing information are not visible due to the AVG legislation.
- Account with management rights: This account gives you access to all clients using Medido services within your organization, including billing information. You can view which subscriptions are billed per month (start, monthly and stop subscriptions, also called Pharmaceutical Telecare on the invoice). Clicking on a monthly invoice and then a client's name will take you to that client's profile in the Medido Portal.
Apply for account
Would you like to request an account? Please send an email to our Customer Service at info.medido@evondos.com and include the following information:
- First and last name of the person for whom you are requesting the account
- The type of account desired (employee account or account with management rights)
- The email address of the person for whom the account is for
- If it is an employee account, please indicate which team(s) this account should be linked to.
Note: If you want to link the employee account to another team, please contact our Customer Service to make the change.
Deactivate or reactivate account
If you do not log into your account for 10 weeks, you will automatically receive an email asking you to log in within two weeks. If you don't log in by then, your account will automatically be deactivated for security reasons. This prevents people who no longer need access to the Medido Portal, for example because they are working somewhere else, from keeping access.
Have you temporarily not used your account and it has been deactivated? No worries, you will receive an email two weeks in advance. After that, please contact our Customer Service at info.medido@evondos.com to reactivate your account.
Want to deactivate an account because a healthcare professional no longer needs access? Then send an email to our Customer Service as well.
Do you have changes to the team link of an employee account? Then contact our Customer Service to adjust this.
Medication roll change
If the weekly schedule has been modified by the pharmacy, it will be automatically loaded on the medication dispenser after the new medication roll is produced. Is there a change/adjustment for the current medication roll? If so, please contact Customer Service at info.medido@evondos.com or 085 888 5123.
For a current medication roll, the following is possible: our Customer Service may move a dispensing time forward or backward by one hour, provided this does not cause medication times to be merged. For all other changes, we ask healthcare professionals to first coordinate with the pharmacy involved and obtain a written agreement from the pharmacy or physician to make the desired change. This agreement can be emailed to info.medido@evondos.com.
Pause Medido
Resuming services after pausing
The Medido medication dispenser can be temporarily paused when, for example, a client goes on vacation or is temporarily unable to use services due to hospitalization. When it is paused, it is not necessary to have the medication dispenser activated via customer service (menu 0). In fact, this is only necessary with a newly commissioned Medido. To resume the service, or just temporarily stop it, an e-mail can be sent to info.medido@evondos.com. For this we need the following information:
- Name client
- Date of birth client
- Next bag on the medication roll + time to put active*.
Our Customer Service will then ensure that the client can use the medication dispenser as prior to vacation, hospitalization or other occasion.
*The request will be addressed within two hours on weekdays when it comes in between 7:00am and 8:00pm. Of course, it is always possible to call customer service if it needs to be faster than two hours.
Lock Medido
The Medido Medicine Clock can be locked by means of an RFID tag. This is not supplied as standard, but is a feature on request. You can order an RFID tag via the order form. To use the lock, the RFID tag must be linked to the Medido. To do this, please contact customer service at info.medido@evondos.com.
Is the RFID tag linked? Then hold the RFID tag in front of the Medido logo to close or open the medicine clock. The action will be reflected on the display.

Client interview
Tips for building the client conversation:
- Medido is very easy to use.
- Caregivers continue to visit to provide other care.
- The client no longer has to wait for caregivers to deliver medication.
- There is no additional cost to the client.
- We can just try it.
Guidance client
Guidance early on
Be present at least five minutes before the first medication time.
Observe the following observation points during medication dispensing:
- Does the client press the button when the beep sounds?
- Does the client not pull on the medication bag during dispensing?
- Is the volume at the appropriate level?
- Does the client understand that the medication must be self-administered after it is dispensed?
Supervise the client until he or she can take the medication properly and safely on his or her own. Allow at least four weeks of getting used time.
Regular use
- Place a new medication roll weekly/every other week.
- Monitor whether the client continues to use Medido appropriately.
- Evaluate the use of Medido using the Medido Portal. Discuss findings with one of our Implementation Consultants.
Special situations
- Communicate medication changes to the pharmacy. Place a new medication roll weekly/every other week.
- Temporary discontinuation should be passed on to Medido Customer Service.
In the case of temporary medication given outside the roll, it may be necessary to hand deliver it manually.
Billing

At Evondos Netherlands you can have a cost center number on your invoice. However, it is not possible to put multiple cost centers on one invoice.
If you want to have a cost center number added to the invoice for your healthcare organization, simply contact your Implementation Consultant or our Customer Service at info.medido@evondos.com.
Insight into invoiced costs

Note: the prices are not visible in the Medido Portal. You can find these in the agreement made with us.

Fees
Fees for using an automatic medication dispenser vary by situation and care setting. Below is an overview of the possibilities:
- Extramural care (home care): Consult the annual contract agreements with the health insurer regarding healthcare technology within your organization. These describe what costs are reimbursed and under what conditions.
- Intramural care (nursing homes, residential care centers): Check with the health care office to see what reimbursement options are available for the use of an automatic medication dispenser within an inpatient setting.
- Unplanned care: In some cases, an additional claim can be submitted for the use of a medication dispenser during unplanned care moments. Please check the applicable guidelines and conditions for this.
ECD links
At Evondos Netherlands, we offer the ability to integrate our systems with ONS-Nedap's Electronic Client Files (ECDs) and Ecare's PUUR. These links ensure a seamless exchange of data and make it easier to manage care processes efficiently.
In addition, we have a link with the ordering platform SUP. This link is currently under development and can be activated for customers upon request.
Are you interested in interfacing with one of these ECDs? Then fill out the contact form, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible: contact form partners
Login and logout systems
At Evondos Netherlands, we make it easy to register or unregister a Medido through different systems. This ensures smooth registration and efficient management of the medication dispenser.
How does checking in and out work?
When a client needs a Medido, it must first be registered. This can be done through different systems, depending on what best suits the care organization's working method. Similarly, the Medido can be signed out again when it is no longer needed.
Available login and deregistration options:
- Medido request and deregistration form - A simple form that allows caregivers to request or deregister a Medido.
- Via SUP (upon request) - SUP is an ordering platform that allows Medidos to be managed in an efficient manner. This option is available upon request.
- Via ECD (PUUR. or Ons) - When Medido is linked to an Electronic Client Dossier (ECD) such as PUUR. (Ecare) or Ons (Nedap), check-in and check-out can be arranged directly from the ECD. This makes the process faster and integrated with existing healthcare systems.
