To relieve clients and increase their independence, while simultaneously easing the pressure on healthcare. But Medido is more than just a smart device. Smart medication guidance that relieves care and supports clients

Medido is an innovative service from Evondos Netherlands, aimed at improving therapy adherence and supporting the self-reliance of clients. The Medido service offers a unique approach to medication guidance, where technology and care go hand in hand. By using the Medido medicine dispenser, both community and residential care, we enable clients to independently take their medication thanks to an automatic reminder signal (both auditory and visual) at pre-programmed times. But it doesn't stop there; if necessary, care staff are notified when a client does not respond to the reminder signal, ensuring there is always an extra check on medication administration. Research by Vilans shows that Medido saves care staff 13 minutes per week on medication distribution, leaving more time for personal care. Through the smart combination of digital support and physical care where needed, clients feel supported without being dependent on continuous care.

Seamless collaboration with partners in the healthcare chain
The strength of Medido lies in its smooth collaboration with over 300 healthcare organizations and partners within the healthcare chain. This includes integrations with ECD suppliers and other healthcare platform services, as well as care centers that support us in following up on notifications. We also work closely with pre-packers and pharmacists, who play an essential role in the entire healthcare chain.
Thanks to these strategic collaborations, we remain flexible and can respond to the constantly changing healthcare market. By maintaining dialogue with customers and partners, we implement valuable improvements and optimize service delivery throughout the chain.

 

Implementation Support
Our Implementation Consultants guide healthcare professionals through every phase of implementing the Medido medicine dispenser. They oversee and analyze teams and clients, provide training, and offer additional support when needed.
This ensures that the technology seamlessly integrates into daily practice and meets the needs of both clients and healthcare organizations. Additionally, Medido regularly organizes client events where healthcare professionals share knowledge and experiences to collectively improve the care surrounding Medido.


24/7 support 

Our Customer Service and Technical Support departments are always ready to assist customers with both general and technical questions about the use and performance of the Medido medicine dispenser. We offer 24/7 support: our Customer Service team answers all calls, and in their absence, calls are automatically forwarded to care centers. This ensures that customers are always helped, even outside Customer Service opening hours.

To ensure the quality of our service, we continuously monitor the status of the medicine dispensers in the field, including tracking medication dispenses or signals of deviations. Our Technical Support team monitors the performance of the medicine dispensers and intervenes when necessary. They continuously work on improvements, analyzing both successful and less successful dispenses and optimizing processes. Although 98% of the dispenses go well, it remains important to optimize processes. Technical Support works closely with other departments to continuously optimize our service. 


Medido continues to evolve

The Medido Medicine Clock was developed in collaboration with the Patient Federation, with the aim of optimally supporting clients in medication dispensing. Ease of use and design were central, with a simple and intuitive design that makes the operation safe and effortless with the press of a button. Thanks to valuable input, we have created a device with a less stigmatizing appearance, which fits into the daily living environment and is easy to use.

This way, we continue to innovate and ensure that our service makes a valuable contribution to both clients and healthcare organizations. At Evondos Netherlands, we continuously innovate. Our R&D and Technical Support teams are constantly working on smarter features that add value for clients and caregivers.
