Great news about the STOZ subsidy

Medido – both extramural and intramural – is a proven technology and now falls under the scaling route of the STOZ subsidy (see article)  - "hybrid dispensing of medication with a medicine dispenser").

This means that organizations wishing to apply for the subsidy for the implementation of Medido in both intramural and extramural settings can now do so immediately via the scaling-up route. The mandatory evaluation requirement has been waived. We are happy to assist you in completing the subsidy application for the scaling-up route.

In addition, the evaluation route is still available for the use of Medido in intramural settings. This route offers benefits for care providers, such as gaining insight into (a) the actual reduction in capacity needs, (b) what is required for scaling up within their own organization, and (c) how Medido can be sustainably financed intramurally, even after the subsidy period has ended. To support this, we are organizing a collective evaluation process in collaboration with Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. This means that as a care provider, you will receive support and be relieved of the burden of the evaluation process, which is organized jointly with other care providers. You will also gain insight into the value of Medido in intramural settings across various care organizations.
